Wildwood Antique Mall of Titusville, FL
Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral employed many Brevard County residents who were affected when the NASA Space Shuttle program ended. While Titusville had diversified its business base, many local businesses were suffering. Manny Pesco saw this as a great opportunity to open another Wildwood Antique Mall. Within a short period of time he found a perfect location on the Space Coast. With substantial advertising investment in print and multiple billboards, he fulfilled his expansion goal while helping Titusville revive local business as he established the second Wildwood Antique Mall in the Sears Town Mall at 3550 South Washington Ave. (US-1) in Titusville Fl.
Henry and Lisa Olender General Managers relocated to the Titusville area to design, set up, and manage the Wildwood Antique Mall of Titusville, which is located just four miles east of I-95 and one block in from US-1. Henry and Lisa’s previous experience in manufacturing brought the knowledge of efficiency and capacity management, lending itself to further enhance the layout of the store which has become the blueprint for Wildwood Antique Mall’s future stores. The 18,000 square foot store in Titusville was filled with 90 plus dealers in less than three months. Many dealers are from the east coast as well as from out of state.
Kay Johns has been appointed to the position of Titusville store Manager. Kay brings many years of Antique Shop experience as well as expertise in many areas of home decor with a flair for Shabby Chic.
It was quoted in Florida Today, “The Mall is the best thing since the launch of the Space Shuttle program.” The mall has given dealers another source to sell the antique and vintage items as well as giving some local residents a way to sell their personal collections. The billboards along I-95 and US-1 pull in traffic to the Wildwood Antique Mall of Titusville and also benefit many local businesses.
As the success of this new Wildwood Antique Mall of Titusville increased, Manny searched for other locations. Within a short period he secured two suitable locations; one located in Ocala Florida, and one in Melbourne Florida. Wildwood Antique Mall is on the way to becoming one of the fastest growing chains of antique malls in the USA.
Henry and Lisa Olender are in the process of starting-up the next Wildwood Antique Mall in Melbourne Florida, and continue to be General Managers for all Florida based Wildwood Antique Malls.
