Wildwood Antique Mall of Melbourne, FL
Did you know that history is being rewritten when the truth was found that Ponce de Leon discovered Melbourne Beach, not St. Augustine. The Spanish explorer was long thought to have come ashore near St. Augustine while searching for gold. He actually landed in Melbourne Fl instead on April 2, 1513.
A huge celebration marking 500 years since Juan Ponce de Leon’s discovery took place in April, 2013. The Quincentennial Celebration brought many Customers to the Mall and it was a measurable success. Much like history being rewritten about Ponce de Leon, Manny Pesco has rewritten Wildwood Antique Mall once again as we land in Melbourne, FL.
Henry and Lisa Olender, General Managers of all FL based Wildwood Antique Malls and had been directed by owner Manny Pesco in November to begin work on the 32,000 square foot store located at 1240 Sarno Rd, Melbourne, FL in the Apollo Crossing shopping center located ½ mile west of US1 and 3.9 miles east of I-95 (Exit 183) in Melbourne.
The Wildwood Antique Mall of Melbourne opened its doors to the public on Dec. 10th 2012 and will house over 135 dealers. In only short few weeks we’re at 95% capacity and spaces are going fast. Wildwood Antique Mall has a very strong presence and a good future in Florida and is fully dedicated as being the go to place for Antiques and collectibles.
Melbourne is the fourth Florida location bringing a new shopping experience to our customers Owner Manny Pesco said. General Managers Henry and Lisa Olender designed the layout of the Melbourne store, setup computerized systems, hired and trained the sales staff and manage the operations of the Melbourne store in the same style our customers recognize with familiarity of the “Wildwood Antique Malls”. This is carefully planned to assure efficiency and continuity from one Wildwood Antique Mall to another regardless of its location.
Henry and Lisa Olender are very excited to be part of “Wildwood Antique Mall” of Melbourne and have seen explosive growth since inception and how it’s bringing positive changes to the Apollo Crossing Shopping Center as well as to the Melbourne Antique Vendor Community. We are excited to be located on the Space Coast, and to join the ranks of The Brevard Zoo, Brevard Art Museum and Wickham Park in “Things to see in Melbourne, FL.”
“The Wildwood Antique Mall of Melbourne” just Celebrated its’ GRAND OPENING on April 20th, and what a Grand Opening it was. Thousands of people visited the Mall on that day.
